Dear APOCALYPSE,

You sit here
Like an uninvited guest
Taking space and filling time
In our homes
And in our hearts

But I hope you are ready
For we have been waiting
To dig deep into the depths
Of our humanity
To show you our spirit

Our coming together
As a global nation
Children of the world
We will spring
And we will defeat you

It’s not your time, dear APOCALYPSE.
